Miastolas Brewery emerged from the authentic brewing passion of Michał Rawski combined with the entrepreneurial experience of pub owner Tomek Kirsza. Shortly thereafter, Przemek Leszczyński, a pioneer in the craft beer revolution and co-founder of one of the first craft breweries in Poland, joined the team.
The brewery’s name – Miastolas – is a neologism that significantly encapsulates the philosophy of its creators. In today’s world, the importance of ecology is growing, and more greenery is appearing in urban spaces. Therefore, in addition to brewing beer, Miastolas Brewery adheres to certain principles: we produce ecologically, promote, inspire, actively participate in green initiatives, plant trees, and create green spaces in city centers. For the same reason, our beers bear imaginative names, where we attribute human traits to the inhabitants of the forest.
